Terms of Service

The opinion, the evidence, and the limits.

Effective September 5, 2026 · Marque Enterprises · Pennsylvania

Authentication opinions

Marque provides a professional opinion based on the object and evidence available at the time of examination. Results are Authentic, Does not conform, or Unable to verify. An opinion is not a government certification, appraisal, warranty from the maker, or promise of resale value.

Client responsibilities

Clients must submit an item they lawfully possess or are authorized to examine, provide accurate information, disclose known alterations or repairs, and submit original photographs. Clients may not use Marque to facilitate fraud, misrepresent a different item, or alter a certificate.

Photo and in-hand scope

A photo review is limited to submitted evidence. Marque may request more photographs, require in-hand examination, or conclude Unable to verify. Mail-in items require an accepted case and Marque-generated label. Unapproved packages may be refused or returned at the sender’s expense.

Certificates

The hosted report is the source of truth. Screenshots, PDFs, and laminated cards must be checked against the live record. Marque may place a record under review, correct descriptive text, supersede an opinion after deeper review, or revoke a record for new evidence, error, misuse, or fraud. History remains visible.

Fees and refunds

Fees are shown before checkout. Refunds and returned trade credits follow the Marque Service Fee Promise. Shipping, insurance or protection, taxes, and third-party charges may be separate.

Mail-in value and custody

The pilot item-value ceiling is $5,000 unless Marque approves a higher value in writing. Clients must follow packaging, address verification, signature, and shipping-protection instructions. Marque’s responsibility for an item begins only after checked-in receipt and ends at documented handoff to the approved return carrier or recipient, subject to applicable law and any separately accepted terms.

Brand independence and acceptable use

Marque is independent from the makers named in reports. Trademarks identify examined objects. Reports may be shared with a genuine item and transaction; they may not be copied to another object, edited, sold separately, or used to imply maker endorsement.

Disputes and governing law

Clients should first submit disputes through support so the record and evidence can be reviewed. These terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.

These operating terms should receive final Pennsylvania counsel and insurance review before unrestricted paid launch.
